Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, on October 4, 2012 said that its premium brand Van Heusen has launched ‘X-Lifestyle’, which is a new range of fashionable formals. The new range has been launched and designed specifically for modern professionals. The new range aims to make modern professionals more trendy.

According to our sources, Ashish Dixit, the Madura Fashion & Lifestyle chief executive officer said, “We are launching a new innovative range, which is an addition to our brand Van Heusen. It tends to make corporates more fashionable. It has bolder checks and stripes, inner detailing patterns, slimmer fits”. The Aditya Birla company and private carrier Jet Airways have joined hands to co-brand one of its air-crafts.

Dixit added, “We thought since most corporates are frequent air-fliers, this will help to communicate better with them”. The new range will be available across all the retail outlets where the company has a presense.

Dixit while talking about the contribution to revenue by the new range said, “It is too early to say anything but we think it will have substantial contribution to our sales.” In the 2012 financial year, Van Heusen had recorded a turnover of Rs. 900 crores. In the next five years the brand is expecting a turnover of Rs. 2,000 crore according to popular sources.
